1. Which services are covered by my extended health insurance plan?
Most extended health plans cover a wide range of the different services we offer. Every insurance company has different coverages for different services. Even within the same workplace, employees of the same company will be covered differently based on their positions. We advise to make an appointment with our claim specialist to go through your insurance coverage in depth to determine what services and the amount of coverage you have for each service. You can also do so on your own by contacting your insurance provider for specific details and maximum annual coverage. Please note that most insurance companies require you to be at the clinic to give consent for the claims specialist to call on your behalf for coverage information.
2. Do you do direct billing to insurance companies?
Yes, we can bill directly most of the insurance companies for motor vehicle accident cases. Some extended health plans will allow direct billing as well. When making an appointment please specify your insurance company's name to allow us to prepare all necessary forms before your first visit.
3. Do I need a Doctor’s referral?
Some extended health insurance plans may require a doctor’s referral in order to reimburse you for your treatments. Our qualified specialists are available to advise and check with your insurance provider to determine whether a referral is required for reimbursement. Please note that it is always a good idea got have your doctor write your condition on a prescription pad prior to receiving treatment.
4. Does your clinic accept Slip and Fall accidents?
Yes, our clinic accepts slip and fall accident patients. If you require treatment as a result of a slip and fall claim, in most cases, your treatments should be covered by your law firm until your case settles. Feel free to contact one of our specialists for more information.
5. Does your clinic accept Auto Accident insurance?
Yes, if you have been injured in an automobile accident, contact us so we can set up an appointment. At that time, we will go over the full details of your accident and injuries. From there, we will determine the best treatment plan based on your needs, and even contact your insurance company on your behalf.
6. What should I have with me if I am visiting your clinic for the first time?
Bring your ID, health card, any existing referral notes from your treating medical practitioner and any insurance information you have.
7. What should I wear to my appointment?
Comfortable clothing is recommended for all appointments. Please note that the area of injury will need to be exposed for proper assessment.
8. How long are the treatments and what should I expect?
Depending on your needs, area(s) to be treated, and type of treatment, you should expect to be here for between 30-90 mins.
9. Do you sell gift certificates?
We sell gift certificates all year around for any of the services offered at the clinic. Our most popular ones are gift certificates for massage therapy and custom made orthotics.
10. What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and cash.
11. Are interpreters available at the clinic?
Yes, we speak English, Farsi, Russian, Ukrainian, French, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.
